We have a new menu coming soon that we are really excited about. It’s our Lemon Lipz menu, expected to drop in November (2025). Lemon Lipz is Lemonade crossed to Runtz BX2. Our Runtz line is outcrossed to Strawberry Runtz from Raw Genetics and it was the perfect pairing. Crosses from that line are both terpy and resinous.

Lemon Lipz smells like a sour lemon warhead drenched in gasoline and chemical cleaner
Lemon Lipz is becoming popular on the east coast, also known as Lemon Lulu or LuLu Lemons, and was reviewed by Good PizzZa Podcast. It is special in flower form as it has an intense lemon aroma and tastes as good as it smells. It is a loud terp. If you walk into a room where a bag of Lemon Lipz flower is, you instantly smell it.
We’re going to go ahead and call it, Lemon Lipz is a future award-winning strain. We’ll say it again, this one is loud; made for terp connoisseurs that want to impress everyone in their circle. Tasting and smelling like a sour lemon warhead drenched in gasoline and chemical cleaner, this strain leaves you with an experience you’ll never forget. We’ve heard many well-known brands call it the best lemon on the market.
A lot of the phenos will wash, but this menu was not a hash forward project or selection. It was selected for top shelf flower production – and the goal was definitely achieved.
Our Second Lemonade BX
This is our second Lemonade backcross; the first one being our Lemon Macarons, which is Lemonade crossed to Animal Cookies BX4. Lemon Macarons is more of a lemon cookie dough terp while Lemon Lipz is more of a sour lemon candy. We often make several backcrosses of a strain to see which way it pairs better, which is subjective and based on personal preference, but when building a strain, there is more to it than just whether or not you like it, like genetic pairing, stability, etc.

We have different goals in mind depending on which strain we are backcrossing when it comes to selecting the male. There’s a lot to consider in terms of preserving a line and progressing a line, and we like to do both. When it comes to preservation, we tend to consider the genetic lineage and also what’s going to help bring out those original traits. When it comes to progressing a strain, we consider what is going to make it better, whether it’s vigor, bag appeal, terp profile, etc.
Because the main goal of this project is to create a Lemonade BX, we selected a male that was as close to the Lemonade mother as possible. Because of the terpene profile of the Lemon Lipz, for this menu we mainly selected mothers that will complement the Lemon Lipz terp profile. For example, we are crossing it to Sour Tangie, Runtz, Fire D, Peanut Butter Breath, Cherry Berry Pie, and of course, back to the Lemonade and Lemon Lipz. That is what makes this menu so exciting; the potential to create some next level, out of this world terp profiles.
Wild Sour Citrus Candy Brand-Building Terps
If you’re wanting to offer your customer base a truly unique cannabis experience, you’ll want to shop this menu. When it comes to selecting genetics, make sure to consider what’s popular in your area, but what could also be something new for people to try. You’ll also want to consider the product you’ll offer as some strains have resin better for washing and some have resin better for flower. Whether it’s flower, buckets, or carts, this menu will deliver terps that will help you standout from the competition and attract loyal customers.
