Guava Melons Wins People’s Choice & 3rd Place Sun Grown Flower at The Aloha Cup 2026

Happy 4/20! We just got word that our Guava Melons won People’s Choice and 3rd place sun grown flower at The Aloha Cup 2026 in Honolulu, Hawaii today. This competition was only for Hawaii growers. The winning pheno was grown, selected, and entered by @ogganjahfarmah, who also recently won 3rd place with our Chocolate Maple for sungrown flower. A big congratulations for a job well done!

This is the second competition that one of our Sherb N Runtz crosses won, the first being Sherb N Runtz #7 which took 1st place at The Grow Off in 2022.

Guava Melons is Sherb N Runtz #33 x Watermelon Rolex. The Sherb N Runtz #33 was selected by @bung_lu_desh who gifted us the cut. We then crossed it in our collab with Canna Research’s selected Watermelon Rolex male. The mother, Sherb N Runtz, is Sunset Sherbet crossed to Runtz BX, which we outcrossed to Raw Genetics’ Strawberry Runtz with a male we selected. It is a killer cross, not too surprising that it placed in a competition. It smells like sweet guava and gas.
