Tropical Papayaz Crosses Deliver 2 Of The Top 5 Strains Of 2024 for Special Brand-Building Genetics

Tropical Papayaz is our second menu of 2024. The genetics are Papaya x Zkittlez BX3. Papaya has proven to be one of the best washing strains on the market as far as sweet terps go. Adding a strain like Zkittlez into the equation just pushed it over the top. Zkittlez is like Runtz when it comes to terpene profiles and while not quite as popular, it’s not far behind. 

The Male

The male was Zkittlez dominant in appearance, but had a strong sweet papaya aroma, and great branching. Because Papaya can be a leafy plant, we also select phenos that have less leaf when working a line like this to improve leaf to calyx ratios and lessen the workload when it comes to maintaining the plants and trimming them after harvest. The pollen itself even had a sweet and tropical papaya smell to it, which is not common. The goal of this menu is to make an over-the-top tropical papaya fruit menu that would make a splash in the world of concentrates.

Predicting it would be a top seller, we made plenty of the Rainbow Papaya, one of 5 – and the most popular pairing – Papaya BX we have made to date. It ended up outselling all other strains we made that year by double. Reviews coming in state that keepers are being found out of only 2-3 seeds. Quickly becoming many growers favorite terp, Rainbow Papaya delivers exotic and sweet fruit terps that are hard to beat. While past popular crosses have been dominated by garlic GMO terps, 2024 saw a strong demand for the opposite, candy and fruit terps.
