Top 5 Strains Of 2022
It’s that time of year! 808 Genetics created some great crosses in 2022, totaling 225 strains from 10 different menus. The numbers have been ran, the results are in, and we love to see what strains you all liked the most. (The top strains of the year are based on how many packs of each strain sold.)
This year’s most popular strains are:1. Real Cookies
Animal Cookies x Circus Animal Cookies This really isn’t a surprise to us as we predicted this would be in the top 3 when we first made it. This is a heavily worked Cookies strain, an improvement over the original Girl Scout mother, and the phenos coming from this line are impressive to say the least. If you like Wedding Cake or Cookies, this is the perfect variety for you.
Real Cookies was our #1 strain of 2022 and it is a heater!

GMO x GMO BX3 Coming in at #2, OMG Burger is another heavily worked strain that we knew would be popular. It was bred to wash well and yield well with high potency in strength and terpenes. Funk for everyone. With how much of this we made, we thought it would come in at #1, but it just goes to show how much you all liked Real Cookies.

Runtz x Cherry Pie BX3 Our third most popular strain was Cherry Bang Bang and this is one we love seeing on the list. This is a great one for those looking for a special terpene profile. It will be an extremely terpy plant, sure to become many people’s favorite, and will have a faster bloom time with the influence from the Cherry Pie BX3. Welcome to the future of terps.

Apple Fritter x GMO BX3 Of all the crosses on this list, this one was the most surprising. It’s the first Apple Fritter cross we’ve had on our top strains of the year list. This one has great returns when washing and the terpene profile is next level. Sure to become a hash-head’s favorite hash.

Sunset Sherbet crosses were the most popular crosses on all of our menus, arguably making it the most popular mother of the year. We thought a sherb cross would be in the top 5, but was surprised to not see Sherb N Runtz on the list.
